Rev. Robert L. Rowland, III Robert is a native of Dinwiddie County, where he graduated from Dinwiddie High School in 1985. He answered the call to full-time ministry in 1992, becoming the pastor of Cut Banks Baptist where he served for seven years. In 1999, he and his family were missionaries to India for two years. Robert received his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Liberty University. He has pastored Smyrna since October, 2001. Robert and Johanna have three sons Joshua, Joseph, Benjamin and a daughter, Laura.

Mr.Diago Reyes, his wife Dana and two boys (Broderick & Ethan), who served as IBM missionaries to Peru, joined us a our new Associate Pastor of Evangelism & Discipleship in July of 2009. Diago is currently involved in providing the congregation with servant evangelism opportunities in the community as well as kickstarting Growth Groups (discipleship classes) beginning September 9, 2009. Welcome, Diago!

Dawn is a native of DinwiddieCounty and a 1985 graduate of DinwiddieHigh School. She received an Associate in Arts degree from Southwestern College in Bonita, CA. Upon transferring back to Virginia from her husband Mitch’s military duty in California, Dawn went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Teaching degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She taught Second grade at Rohoic Elementary School for seven years and Reading for three years. Dawn answered the call to full time children’s ministry in July 2006. Dawn and Mitch have two daughters, Haley & Olivia.
